Since 1995 Catherine and Patrick Rentz have continued the hard work of their father Raymond (son of Edmond). The various vineyards are spread over several sites, each producing unique characters in the wines.
The individual nature of different soils and locations give a specific personality to each wine. Thanks to its semi-continental, hot and dry climate, Alsace is amongst the driest areas of France. The climate is ideal for a slow and long ripening of the grapes and favours the development of very subtle flavours.
The Edmond Rentz wines have a delicate and elegant style, which makes them a great match with food.
